Python Job: Software Developer

Articheck is an Art tech SAAS startup seeking a new Full Stack Developer to grow the capacity of our engineering team in a time of expansion and opportunity.

Founded by a Tate Conservator, Articheck has set the world standard for digital condition reports with around 700,000 reports generated by hundreds of museums, galleries, private collectors and fine art shippers globally. The Articheck team has also recently launched Virtual Courier, which is revolutionizing risk mitigation during shipping, and introduced Virtual Conservator and Curator, Articheck add-ons that make it the world’s first video condition reporting system.

Joining a team of 10 remote professionals, you will be helping us transition our tech stack from startup to scaleup. The ideal candidate is a full stack developer who understands the importance of maintainable code, values the existing customer base and is driven to build scalable, secure, and robust applications in a serverless environment.

We have recently started a large project to convert our codebase for scale, moving from Python to C#. If you are a Python developer with some experience with and a keen interest in C, this is your opportunity to make the shift! We are looking for someone willing to grow with the company, eager to learn and dedicated to quality.

Position is entirely remote.

£35-40k depending on experience.

You will be comfortable working in

Python, Django (web & ORM)

Angular 2+

Serverless development e.g. AWS Lambda

PostgreSQL or similar relational database

UI experience is a bonus

If you can bring experience in C#, dotnet core 3.1, EFCore, WebAPI that would be great but we will be looking to cross-train you over to within 18 months.
